Diamond Drive Hub Mod - The Real Solution

If you are experiencing belt failures, high temperature drive components and poor sled performance, its usually caused by a worn out bushing/hub.
​Arctic Cat Diamond Drive Clutches have a fixed and a movable sheave where the movable sheave has a plastic bushing that slides on an aluminum shaft (hub) of the fixed sheave. The plastic bushing and the aluminum hub wears out prematurely. Replacement bushing is not available. We have a solution fix the worn out hub and bushing. We install a steel hub and a Teflon coated bronze plated bushing.   

Our fix is a much more robust over the original design and will probably out last the sled. The sled will be much more responsive, the drive component temperatures will be reduced and top speed should be increased over a worn out clutch.

To get our upgrade, simply send us your sheaves and we will update them. We know the season is short, so we will do everything we can to turn  them around as soon as possible. Our goal is a 24 hour turnaround.

Other things to consider is there are other components that may be worn out also, such as the rollers, helix bushing, sheave faces, shafts etc. If your not sure about the overall condition of the clutch, just send us the complete clutch. Once we receive it, we will disassemble it, inspect it and call you with a rundown of what's needed to get you back on the snow.

When you send us the sheaves or complete clutch, please enclose your name, return address, phone number and a brief description of what you would like done.
